    Description

    Salem Maritime National historic site was built a half century after Derby Wharf's busiest trading days, this beacon is still maintained as a range light for vessels entering Salem Harbor through the channel where privateers and East Indiamen used to sail. Headland at Marblehead (right), Baker's Island, and the ocean beyond are visible in the background. The card is in good condition, some dings, aging on the back, with wear on the corners.
